Michael “Coach” Harris, a US Navy Veteran, brings several years’ experience in leadership, legislative advocacy, and industrial hemp education. As a former lobbyist, he was instrumental in enacting legislation in Georgia in the passing of the HB213 – “Georgia Hemp Farming Act” and medical cannabis 324 – “Georgia’s Hope Act.” Coach is very passionate and excited about the hemp industry’s potential economic impact on the State of Georgia’ economy. Therefore, he is committed to educating growers, patients, physicians, and industry enthusiasts on the 50,000+ uses of hemp for medical and industrial use. He is an influencer in the hemp market with deep ties to the hemp industry from California, Colorado, and Oregon to North Carolina. He has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Central State University in Ohio. While at Central State, Coach was an intern for State Representative David Hobson and gained experience and insights into politics. He obtained an MBA at Keller Graduate School of Management DeVry University.
