Victor-Alan Weeks is of two Ubuntus / Co-Founders of 404/20, a black-owned hemp cultivation company in North Carolina. 404/20's pillars are based upon equity, education, and environmental stewardship to bring high quality hemp and industrial hemp use models to the industry. Victor-Alan has spent several years in both urban and rural agriculture, holds a sustainable farm management certificate, and aids other famers in the Southeast. 404/20 seeks to redefine our social interactions and understanding of the cannabis plant, and reimagine what social mobility could look like by harnessing this plant. Victor-Alan seeks to align his various backgrounds in Digital Media Production, Urban Agriculture, Sustainable Small Farm Management, and Aquaculture to maximize the potential opportunities hemp brings to the table. With his fellow Ubuntu Jalen Madden, they are curating a creative culture of social mobility, holistic care, and destigmatizing cannabis among BIPOC communities. Victor-Alan is also a performing artist and Word Farmer under the moniker Pragmatic, part of the rap group TG3, the band Calm and Concise, CoFounder of the record label and artist collective Trilla G ENT, filmmaker, photographer, wall writer (muralist), audio engineer, and sound designer. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, skateboarding, traveling, and supporting the agricultural initiative for cultural preservation of the Saltwater Geechee community on Sapelo Island, GA.
