Clint began studying hemp on his own for 15 years and went on to study Plant & Soil Science at MTSU where he became a lead hemp researcher pursuing a phD in Molecular Bioscience focused on genetics. Clint's passion for the industry is infectious and his commitment to hemp education is evident in his business ventures. Clint also has been a lobbyist for hemp in TN since 2013 passing numerous bills. He co-founded the Tennessee Hemp Industries Association (Now Hemp Alliance of Tennessee), the TN Hemp Farmacy and now, works with Optimara Agriculture as their director of operations. What does Clint do in his spare time? He speaks at hemp conferences, gives presentations, and hangs out with other hempy folk.
