Uzma Rawn is Major League Baseball’s Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Partnerships, overseeing the team responsible for securing, renewing and managing sponsorship agreements with Official League Partners across the world. Rawn works with organizations to create holistic partnerships that reach millions of baseball fans through MLB’s extensive assets including MLB.com, MLB Network, MLB digital properties and social channels, special events, use of MLB intellectual property in advertising and promotions and more. Since joining MLB in 2015, Rawn has been instrumental in facilitating some of Baseball’s biggest and most impactful deals, such as the first-ever presenting sponsorships of each Postseason round including the World Series, and a cornerstone partnership with Google Cloud that has led to innovative technology enhancements across the organization. In addition to the robust roster of MLB corporate partners which includes the likes of Anheuser-Busch, Capital One, Chevrolet, Google Cloud, Mastercard and T-Mobile, Rawn and her team are also responsible for MiLB and Little League corporate partnerships. In 2020, Sports Business Journal named Rawn to its prestigious 40 Under 40 Class, and in 2015, Rawn was a Forbes Magazine 30 Under 30 in Sports honoree. Prior to her tenure at Major League Baseball, Rawn worked at Premier Partnerships where she was responsible for new business development and growth. In that role, Rawn secured sponsorship agreements for MLB and NBA teams, the AFL and landmark New York properties like Grand Central Terminal and the Intrepid Museum. Rawn also spent four years at the National Basketball Association in the league’s Team Marketing & Business Operations group. Rawn graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Sport Management.
